Mitchell joined the Rankin Ellison Lawyers team in March 2025 as a well-practiced workers compensation lawyer, having advised and represented clients across a range of litigated and non-litigated matters since qualifying in 2020. Having acted for both plaintiffs and defendants, Mitchell has the necessary experience and perspective to assist clients to navigate complex liability issues and achieve optimal outcomes in the most cost-efficient way.

Mitchell provides advice across the spectrum of workers compensation matters, from claims management, liability determination, dispute resolution, and litigation in both general scheme and exempt worker matters. He has extensive experience in managing proceedings in the Personal injury Commission, District and Supreme Courts, and has successfully managed complex multi-party and recovery matters involving CTP, Public Liability and other liability and/or indemnity issues.
